The Team


Our diverse Services business provides 24/7 servicing for: hospitals, utilities, data centers, support for the resources sector and just about everything in-between. Our Schneider Electric portfolio covers UPS, critical cooling equipment, LV/MV switchgear, transformers, substation monitoring as well as a wide range of ancillary equipment. We enable owners, end users and custodians to minimise breakdowns, increase reliability, efficiency and safety while reducing costs and simplifying operations.

Based in Melbourne and encompassing multiple states (VIC, SA, TAS), you will lead an experienced team of specialists within our specialist Services operations, driving ongoing growth and contributing to our success as you join a market leading brand and the World's Most Sustainable Company!

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations : play a hands-on leadership role to ensure that we are delivering Customer focused outcomes, ensuring a high level of regional performance in relation to relevant KPI's and maintaining a strategic approach to other broader business objectives. This will also include relevant Financials and other commercial requirements as part of a truly global organisation.
  • Leadership : this is a pivotal leadership position where you will lead, coach and motivate a variety of passionate teams including: Service Delivery Managers, Service Representatives, Engineers and other stakeholder groups that you will interact with at a senior level.
  • Customers: act as a central point of contact across your designated Region as you operate in a dynamic organisational context, defined by ongoing growth and diverse Customers who place a high-demand on our specialist expertise.
  • Health, Safety and Environment : play a proactive and visible leadership role within the high-risk environments in which we operate, going above compliance to ensure the well-being of our employees and other stakeholder groups.
  • Stakeholder Partnerships: ensure you are proactively collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders that will be key to your success - this will include; Planning, Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, HS&E, Contractors and other specialist functions.

About You

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications coupled with proven experience in a similar leadership position that has seen you successfully manage multi-site / multi-region operations.
  • Strong depth of relevant skills and experience across business operations, people leadership and Customer (able to travel across your regions when required).
  • Commercial in your approach with a diverse mix of proven skills (Finance, P&L, Contractor Management, Tendering, Human Resources, IR etc.).
  • Proven ability to collaborate with a variety of specialist functions and achieve outcomes through people.
  • Those with any postgraduate qualifications will be viewed favourably, as will those with a relevant technical background - UPS, Cooling, Power Systems, LV, MV, HV etc.
