Key responsibilities

Regional Category Manager. It will be achieved through a growth mindset and a strong capacity to design SE supply Chain, including our supplier base. Leveraging suppliers' mastery, partnership and common growth ambition are the key pillar of the success?

We are seeking highly motivated, collaborative, forward-thinking talent with an enthusiasm for networking internally and drive partnership with suppliers.

The position will report to the Passive/PCB Global Category Director , w ithin an international team , you will be responsible for market strategy for NAM region .

Responsibilities

Align category s trategy deployment in the business.

  • Perform needs analysis for different Schneider entities LOB in NAM Hub and segment the commodity needs, to share it with the Global Category Manager GCM
  • Prepare monthly regional report for key drivers, monitor and report risks in supply chain, follow up with technology trends , raw material market , market situations impacting pricing, competitiveness & supply chain.
  • Regular interlock meeting with NAM region team to support and coordinate supplier performance, business continuity and technical productivity;


Coordinate & collaborate - Deploy Passive/PCB Strategy within the Business.
  • Schedule interlock with the Business Procurement every quarter
  • Participate actively to the innovation phase with R&D to support Business Procurement
  • Reviewing the Award with Business Procurement on key passive/PCB technologies and insuring that the best practices ( multi-sourcing, costing matrix, competitiveness, LTSA) are implemented

Suppliers Relationship management
  • Directly manage passive/PCB suppliers and lead in global negotiations with these suppliers.
  • Support the others purchasers (Regional) in their negotiations (tools, arguments,...)
  • Plan business reviews with suppliers & assign the task to the respective supplier leaders in the zone.
  • Deploy supplier framework agreements and push the adoption in the NPI.
  • Lead qualification process for any new supplier linked to category

  • Strong influence & convince capability for decision alignment
  • Proven team player
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally & in writing
  • Ability to interact and negotiate with Key suppliers and Schneider executives on key contracts and services,
  • Negotiation skills in a complex and moving environment


Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Economics or relate d;
  • Masters Preferred
  • Minimum 6 years of working experience in procurrent/s upply chain management
  • Purchasing individual with an Electronic Components and Products background.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading functional teams, animate network, and high level of collaboration at multicultural level.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 142,400 - USD 213,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
