Quotation Specialist - Equipment

What will you do?

In this position, you will be responsible for preparing quotations for low-voltage equipment, while driving a high level of customer satisfaction. As a technical support, you will be expected to create a quote based on customer's information. You will be able to analyze the needs of the request and deliver a solution based on the requirements.

  • Review the quotation support request for clarity, suitability for Schneider Electric product offerings, and time given to complete.
  • Match products to the quote request from the customer specifications and drawings.
  • Review customer specifications/drawings to ensure quote is technically compatible.
  • Understand, analyze, document, and communicate in technical terms through Schneider Electric's system.
  • Identify and promote opportunities to improve the quotation process
  • Serve as peer expert for proposal questions including complex technical issues and quote strategies.
  • Support the Sales Team in relation to the quote, including comments on exceptions and clarifications


What qualifications will make you successful?

  • Proven quotation experience (2-4 years) in the Electrical Industry.
  • A track record in delivering quotes involving electrical distribution equipment will be given preference.
  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical Discipline preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Detailed oriented and strong proof reading and communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Team oriented, proactive to help and care for the other members of the group.
  • Action oriented, proactive in prioritizing own workload.
  • General instructions will be provided but is expected to perform independently.
  • Must be able to work in different time zones.

The compensation range for this full-time position, which includes base pay and short-term incentive, is $75,200-$112,800 for candidates who are Ontario residents. Our salary ranges are determ ined by including roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determ ined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
