Join us as a Team Lead in Logistic Process Quality and play a pivotal role in ensuring product safety and customer satisfaction. You'll lead quality initiatives across distribution sites, drive process improvements, and build a culture of excellence.
What will you do?
- Inspect and test products, outbound shipments, and consolidated pallets to ensure they meet production, customer, and quality standards.
- Perform product and in-process inspection audits using basic hand tools such as calipers, pin gauges, height indicators, Symphony drawing specifications, Process Control Plans, and Product Quality Control Plans.
- Pull pallets down as needed to inspect material, validate product quality, verify quantities, and confirm shipment accuracy.
- Be open and willing to be trained on PIT warehouse equipment to safely move pallets, stage material, support inspections, and relocate products as needed.
- Support general labor activities when required, including material handling, sorting, labeling, rework, repacking, and other operational support tasks.
- Improve audit plans together with Quality Engineers and document inspection procedures, preparation steps, and operation instructions for inspection personnel.
- Prepare reports to communicate the results of product inspections, outbound shipment inspections, in-process inspections, and quality audits.
- Review the implementation and effectiveness of Quality Controls such as Poka Yokes and Jidokas.
- Support capability studies and perform Gage R&R studies.
- Provide tooling and process recommendations to optimize product and in-process inspections.
- Use digital quality tools to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.
- Remove products that do not meet production standards and recommend actions to improve product quality.
- Accept or reject finished products and communicate inspection results with the Continuous Improvement teams.
- Perform random inspections to assess product quality.
- Support product inspections, process improvement activities, supplier quality inspections, special customer requirement reviews, and any additional direction from the direct frontline manager.
- Learn, use, and maintain working knowledge of SAP, Oracle, and other Warehouse Management Systems to support inspection documentation, material verification, inventory review, and quality-related transactions.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD $48,000 to $54,000 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
