You will join Schneider Electric's Digital Power business within the NAM Solutions & Services organization, a fast-paced, project-driven environment where procurement plays a key role in ensuring cost competitiveness, supply continuity, and operational performance.
In this role, you will manage the full procurement lifecycle for direct materials and services, from sourcing and supplier selection through to purchase-to-pay execution. You will work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, contributing directly to project delivery and cost optimization.

What you'll be doing
- Execute sourcing strategies for direct materials in alignment with business and category objectives
- Lead RFQs/RFPs, supplier evaluations, and commercial negotiations
- Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive pricing
- Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers to strengthen the supply base
- Evaluate and monitor supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, and service metrics
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support performance and continuous improvement
- Mitigate supply risks and ensure continuity of supply
- Manage purchase orders end-to-end, including creation, tracking, and issue resolution
- Collaborate with finance teams on invoice discrepancies and payment processes
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
- Identify and drive cost-saving initiatives, including cost reduction and value engineering opportunities
- Analyze spend data to uncover optimization opportunities and track savings performance
- Work closely with internal stakeholders such as production, engineering, planning, quality, and finance
- Support new product introductions and project-related sourcing activities
- Leverage ERP systems and procurement tools to manage data, reporting, and decision-making
What you bring
- Experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, ideally within a direct materials environment
- Proven experience in supplier negotiation and supplier management
- Strong understanding of purchase-to-pay processes and procurement systems (ERP-based environments)
- Knowledge of contract terms, commercial practices, and supply chain fundamentals
- Ability to analyze costs, interpret data, and make informed decisions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in a cross-functional environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
- A degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field
- Experience working within a large or complex organization
- Familiarity with ERP tools such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, or similar
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel or Power BI
- Additional language skills
The compensation range for this full-time position, which includes base pay and short-term incentive is $75,200 - $112,800 for candidates who are Ontario residents. Our salary ranges are determ ined by including roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determ ined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
