Public Policy Coordinator & PAC Administrator

Schneider Electric is seeking a Public Policy Coordinator & PAC Administrator to support our North America Government Affairs team and help launch and manage our newly established Political Action Committee (PAC).

This unique role sits at the intersection of public policy, government relations, political engagement, energy, technology, and sustainability. Based in Washington, DC, you will partner closely with the Chief Public Policy Officer and support initiatives that strengthen Schneider Electric's relationships with policymakers, trade associations, and industry stakeholders across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

This role offers broad exposure to executive leadership, government affairs strategy, policy development, industry advocacy, and PAC operations.

What You'll Do

Government Affairs Coordination

  • Support the Chief Public Policy Officer and Government Affairs team with planning, coordination, and execution of key initiatives.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations, briefing materials, meeting agendas, reports, and communications.
  • Coordinate business reviews, leadership updates, board meetings, fly-ins, policy events, and executive visits.
  • Serve as a liaison with trade associations, policymakers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support internal communications, project tracking, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Coordinate logistics for executive engagements, team meetings, conferences, and special events.
  • Assist with vendor onboarding, procurement, compliance activities, and invoice processing.

PAC Administration
  • Administer day-to-day operations of Schneider Electric's PAC in partnership with external compliance vendors.
  • Maintain contribution records, membership databases, and program documentation.
  • Support PAC fundraising campaigns, communications, and employee outreach initiatives.
  • Coordinate PAC board meetings, governance activities, and contribution review processes.
  • Organize fundraising events, candidate meetings, facility tours, and political engagement activities.
  • Assist with communications and educational programs that promote PAC participation and awareness.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, political campaigns, PAC operations, trade associations, congressional offices, or related fields.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail, professionalism, and discretion.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on Capitol Hill, for a trade association, political campaign, PAC, or corporate government affairs team.
  • Experience supporting executive leaders and preparing briefing materials.
  • Fundraising, PAC administration, or political engagement experience.
  • Knowledge of legislative and policy processes.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 101,600 - USD 152,400 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
