In this context, we are looking for a Storage Principal project design leader ( Electronics & Electrical background) / Storage System expert to reinforce our development team. You will work in China, located in Shanghai, in a cross-functional, multicultural and international environment.

Position responsibilities

• As Storage Project Design Leader/ System expert, working with project team (FW/EE/Test leader/external partner) to ensure the project deliverable with good quality and in time delivery.

• Lead energy storage system integration design coordination: Lead the entire process of system integration design for C&I, and utility-scale energy storage products. Take charge of determining the system architecture (including integration solutions for core modules such as battery packs, PCS, and thermal management), and balance energy density, safety, cost, and adaptability to overseas markets (e.g., grid standards, environmental durability).
• Technical problem-solving and system optimization: Lead the resolution of system-level technical pain points (such as module compatibility, integration efficiency bottlenecks, and safety protection vulnerabilities), and drive the iteration of system integration solutions. Combine industry technology trends (such as liquid cooling integration and PV-storage integration) to plan the system technology roadmap and ensure the product's technical competitiveness.

• Main responsible for the technical review of the Hybrid Inverter/Battery system design with partner, Working together with partner for the selection and design of key components, custom component design, etc.;

• Responsible for Inverter /Battery hardware topology design review, including control strategy and key components design

• Find suitable technical solutions in accordance with the whole project objectives: quality, cost, schedule, ensure products comply with relevant safety & environmental requirements

• Carry out product research and development according to the company's product development process;

• Issue related design documents and manage in database.

• Good at analyze and solve important electrical technical problems and difficult problems in the product development process;

• Participate in market technical support, internal and external technical exchanges, system implementation, etc.

资格

Required Skills

• Master with majored in Power Electri onics & E lectrical Engineering , power transmission , or related fields; a PhD is plus .

• Technical management skill, leading design project experience is required. OEM/ODM project experience is a plus

• More than 10 years of working experience in the energy storage industry, including at least 5 years of practical experience in system integration design for residential/C&I energy storage. Have led complete cases from system integration design to mass production and launch of multiple self-developed energy storage products.

• Proficient in the integration logic of energy storage system architecture (battery, PCS, thermal management and other modules), and familiar with the technical characteristics of key system components (BMS, EMS, high-voltage power distribution). Be able to independently decompose complex system requirements and output implementable integrated design solutions.

• Management capabilities: More than 3 years of team management experience, proficient in goal decomposition, performance incentives, and talent development, and able to lead the team to efficiently complete complex projects.

• Proficiency in power electronics, familiar with power electronics topology, power semiconductor devices, driver design and thermal design.

• Strong L eadership/Communication skill among Multi-culture team, engaging with customer and/or partners are required.

• Good at both oral and written English
