Project Technical Senior Engineer

As the on-site Technical Lead you will own the technical vision in projects being the key responsibility of shaping high-quality designs, steering execution and ensuring seamless alignment with customer expectations.

Working within our cutting-edge Application Center you will lead the delivery of innovative solutions, influence key technical decisions and ensure that every project meets the highest standards of performance and quality. Key responsibilities:

  • Act as on-site technical lead obtaining the required technical information to support the projects and lead the technical solutions activities through design and the project cycle
  • You work independently in adherence to policies, quality and compliance standards while having work reviewed as needed
  • You manage project and design scopes, identify risks and ensure quality outcomes within budget and timeline constraints
  • You lead technical teams in specification, design, implementation and testing activities across various digital domains. You play a crucial role in developing and implementing digital systems that enhance communication, automation and control across diverse market segments
  • You are a specialized technical expert in digital systems (BMS - Building management systems) , applying your knowledge to address complex challenges and develop innovative solutions. You apply broader technical knowledge as a system architect to deliver results that have direct impact on your job area
  • Work closely with PM and team members to ensure relevant timelines are met, design activities and documentation is according to quality and project standards/specifications and expectations
  • You are responsible for coaching and reviewing the work of junior professionals and provide guidance on non-routine or escalated issues
  • Review and validate tender material and technical choices compliance within design and secure the correct materials are utilized and approved (based on Technical Design Process)


Skills and attributes:

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams and standards; confident to challenge designs and think outside the box
  • Proven experience in large-scale B2B projects
  • Good understanding of codes, local regulations and construction practices
  • Knowledge of key engineering deliverables (e.g., system architecture, submissions, interfaces, schedules, drawings, test scripts) and collaboration with global and site teams to produce submittals based on approved designs
  • Solid understanding of HVAC systems and coordination with other contractors
  • Ability to identify deviations from contract or agreed design and work closely with the Project Manager to define changes, assess impact and secure variation orders to support project margin improvement
  • Fluency in Danish and English
