Role Purpose

As a Project Quality Leader & Design for Safety, Robustness & Reliability ( DfSR ) Practitioner, you will ensure that the Offer quality is built-in to reach the satisfaction of the future customers & lead the Design for Reliability and Robustness practices across multiple products & epics. Your mission is to ensure that products and solutions meet the required quality standards and are safe, robust, and reliable by design, through disciplined application of proven methodologies, tools, and data driven decision-making throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute quality requirements and standards through the application of Design for Reliability and Robustness processes, tools, and software across multiple products & epics.

• Proactively integrate safety, robustness, and reliability principles into product design and development practices, influencing design decisions early in the lifecycle.

• Manage Quality Risks and Develop structured risk assessment and mitigation plans focused on safety, robustness, and reliability performance.

• Coach and support the squads in executing, and tracking quality best practices and methodologies including the DfSR plans and ensure clear reporting of outcomes and residual risks.

• Train, mentor, and upskill design engineers and project teams in quality methodologies (including DfSR), tools, and best practices, enabling sustainable capability growth.

• Influence decision-making through data-driven quality insights.

• Mobilize and align stakeholders from engineering, quality, manufacturing, testing, and supply chain to ensure integrated quality delivery.

• Promote a culture where everyone owns quality and continuous improvement practices.

• Strong experience in Design for Reliability / Design for Six Sigma (DfSR / DfSS) methodologies.

• Proven capability in risk-based design practices, including P-diagram & FMEA development.

• Process mindset and analytical thinking

• Exposure to Agile or iterative product development environments.

• Solid application and customer-use knowledge, enabling realistic failure mode identification.

• Excellent intercultural communication and collaboration skills.

• Demonstrated ability to lead without authority, influence decisions, and mobilize cross-functional teams.

• Hands-on experience with ReliaSoft tools and reliability analysis techniques are an advantage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.

• Advanced studies or specialization in Reliability Engineering are an advantage.

• Experience in engineering or quality roles, with a strong focus on:

o Design for Reliability / Robustness (DfSR, DfSS)

o Electromechanical products

Preferred Certifications (Desirable)

• Design for Six Sigma Certification (CSSGB or CSSBB)

• Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE)

Travel: Minimal - 10%
