Project Manager Secure Power

The Project Manager Secure Power will be based in Ukkel and is responsible for the end-to-end execution of Secure Power Field Services projects, ensuring safety, customer satisfaction, contractual compliance, and financial performance. The role leads cross-functional teams and acts as the primary customer interface throughout project execution.
Projects typically include UPS, cooling, medium/low voltage distribution, and Secure Power service activities (installation, maintenance, upgrades, and break-fix). #LI-JB10
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Governance
- Lead the execution of Secure Power Field Services projects in line with Schneider Electric policies, processes, and CPP4S governance.
- Ensure full compliance with safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, and changes.
- Ensure proper project setup in ERP systems, including planning, invoicing milestones, and revenue recognition.
- Lead project launch, internal kickoff, and (when required) customer kickoff meetings.
- Confirm project budget and monitor profitability (GM, cash flow, cost control).
- Proactively identify risks, deviations, and opportunities for variation orders / change orders.
- Ensure compliance with contractual clauses, payment terms, and financial protections (bank guarantees, LCs, insurance, etc.).
- Drive timely customer invoicing and support receivables recovery.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (Design, Planning, Supply Chain, Site Teams, Order Management).
- Ensure clear communication of site activities and schedules to planners and Field Service Representatives.
- Act as the single point of contact for customers during project execution.
- Manage third parties and subcontractors within project scope.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and lead issue resolution ("hot loop").
- Conduct project reviews, escalations, and reporting according to governance rules.
- Lead project closure, documentation, and lessons learned ("cold loop").
- Contribute to continuous improvement and forecast accuracy (book-to-bill, backlog).
Profile
- Education: University degree in Engineering.
- Technical Expertise:
- Knowledge of Medium and Low Voltage distribution solutions and/or UPS/cooling systems.
- Familiarity with Schneider Electric Services offers is a plus.
- Tools Proficiency: Skilled in project management software including MS Excel and MS Project.
- Languages:
- Fluent in Dutch & English, French is a plus.
