Project Manager (Power Systems)

This position is accountable for managing execution of multi packages project(s) with high added value in a regional / global environment (multicultural / matrix organization / multi country). lead project execution teams, monitor and control progress & budget, assess & manage the risks and opportunities to meet customer satisfaction and project profitability.

Mission:

  • Drive the execution of multi-packages project ( s ) .
  • Goal is to meet four main objectives:
  1. Ensure high Customer satisfaction.
  2. Ensure project profitability.
  3. Successful project execution to fulfill scope, specification compliance, and schedule.
  4. Efficient project control and monitor including appropriate risk & opportunity management.

Some of the tasks:

  • Organize the project.
  • Monitor project execution and source/trigger request for the right expertise when needed (RAC's TL's, Digital expertise, Site Works expertise, quality manager...).
  • Assess and manage the risks.
  • Identify and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage relationships with customers, suppliers, and factories.
  • Ensure Lessons Learned sessions r are properly conducted on each project and outcomes implemented on subsequent projects in a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Store and share all relevant project execution documents (e.g., test scripts, SOO's, training materials, Lessons Learned...).
  • Ensure that projects will be delivere d by company Project directions, recommendations, and templates.
  • Ensure that Project Review and preparation meeting will be conducted with project team and finance controller to check project details (invoicing, sales, costs to completion...) and prepare well project for presentation during management
  • Follow-up project through management meeting parti cipation and any other appropriate project reviews. Ensure projects are delivered with as booked margin or better.
  • Drive and support corrective actions plans when needed.
  • Provide senior level customer interface when needed.
  • Lead any quality platform issues communication for projects executed within her/his perimeter in close collaboration with Strategic Accounts Manager.

Competence
  • Customer Project Process knowledge
  • Develop Project Charter, Project Management Plan, WBS, Schedule, EHS plan.
  • Control Cost, manage P&L, manage cash flow, manage changes, and carry effective project review.
  • Ability to develop Role and Responsibility Matrix

Qualifications
  • Diploma / bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • 5~10 years' experience in Project Management in Datacenter and/or utility industry (within the electrical distribution field)
  • Knowledge of functional Management with a multi-jobs team
  • Knowledge of Datacenter, utility, EPC Electrical Distribution Systems, and standards
  • Knowledge of Medium/Low Voltage switchgear, HV/MV/LV Transformer and Power automations, including installation, testing, and commissioning works.
  • Proficient in planning tools
