Project Manager - Analytics, BI & Standardization (2-y contract)

As a Project Manager for Analytics and BI on a two‑year contract, you will be at the center of building a scalable analytics and business intelligence environment for the organization. You will take the lead on cross‑functional initiatives that bring together data platforms, reporting, dashboards, governance and enablement. In this role, you will help teams across the organization access standardized, secure and value‑driven analytics capabilities that strengthen decision making and support their day‑to‑day work.

In this role, you will work closely with colleagues across Data Insights, Data Engineering, IT, Digital, and business teams to translate strategic analytics objectives into clear roadmaps and to manage projects from end to end. With a focus on the Canada region, you will assess the current Analytics & BI landscape across domains, apply the existing Analytics & BI playbook where it fits, and identify where it needs to evolve to support additional use cases. You will also collaborate with current analytics team members to implement improvements to existing reporting solutions and support the adoption of enterprise BI tools.

What you'll be doing

Program & Project leadership (Analytics & BI)

  • Lead the end‑to‑end project management of Analytics and BI initiatives, from intake and business case creation through delivery and adoption.
  • Build and maintain an integrated Analytics & BI roadmap aligned with the enterprise data strategy and business priorities.
  • Coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams, including data ingestion, data modeling, reporting, dashboards, and advanced analytics.
Standardization & Gouvernance
  • Drive the standardization of BI tools, reporting frameworks, KPI definitions, and delivery processes to reduce fragmentation and duplication.
  • Ensure all analytics initiatives comply with data governance, security, privacy, and quality standards.
  • Partner with Data Office and Architecture teams to align with enterprise data models and approved platforms.
Stakeholder & Change Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, prioritization, and scope management across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Lead change management and communication efforts to support the adoption of Analytics and BI solutions across regions and functions.
Delivery excellence & Vendor coordination
  • Build and monitor detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Track delivery progress, benefits realization, and KPIs tied to business value.
  • Manage vendors or external partners contributing to BI or analytics delivery when needed.
Enablement & Knowledge transfer & Analytics maturity

  • Support the development of analytics communities, playbooks, and training materials to strengthen organizational analytics capabilities.
  • Ensure effective knowledge transfer and sustainability of solutions beyond project close.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of analytics delivery models and best practices.


What you bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of project or program management experience, including exposure to Analytics, BI, or Data platforms.
  • Experience leading cross‑functional, technology‑focused initiatives.
  • Knowledge of BI and analytics concepts such as dashboards, KPIs, data models, ETL, and self‑service analytics.
  • Familiarity with agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery approaches.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and support clear facilitation and decision‑making.

Preferred qualification
  • Hands‑on involvement with enterprise BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Cognos).
  • Knowledge of cloud data platforms, data lakes, or analytics engineering concepts.
  • Exposure to data governance frameworks or data office environments.
  • A project management certification (PMP, Prince2, SAFe, or equivalent).

  • Delivery of Analytics & BI initiatives within timeline and budget.
  • Increased adoption and reuse of standardized analytics assets.
  • Greater consistency and trust in enterprise KPIs and reporting.
  • Clear business value generated through analytics‑driven decision‑making.


The compensation range for this full-time position, which includes base pay and short-term incentive is $114,750 - $162,000 for candidates who are Ontario residents. Our salary ranges are determined by including roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
