Our mission is to master and support grow of large, complex and international projects business for global accounts and targeted customers through the Global and Regional Application Centers, supporting in parallel project ambitions for Local Execution Centers in Europe in tendering and projects executions.
Our team, which is a part of Schneider Electric community in Slovakia, has currently 90-110 Employees .

Project Logistics Coordinator cooperates with other team members on realization of assigned international projects

Main responsibilities

  • Manage the logistics aspect of international customer projects, from procurement to delivery, in accordance with project budgets, deadlines and objectives
  • Analyze and define complete logistics flows, taking into consideration customer requirements, final country of delivery, nature of supply, shipping constraints, packaging, customs, Incoterms, payment
  • Anticipate and minimize any logistics risk before and during project execution
  • Launch purchase orders to suppliers, request order acknowledgement & monitor progress

  • Secure fullfilment of supplier's contractual terms and conditions in accordance with project needs
  • Organize deliveries from suppliers/warehouse to final customers according to agreed contractual
    conditions, including packing, transport, customs formalities, certifications, insurance, etc.
  • Issue and / or validate logistics-related documentation (shipping documents, transport, customs)
  • Liaise with 3PL providers for the definition and organization of international transportation
  • Implement necessary actions to achieve project objectives and customer's satisfaction.
  • Follow internal procedures & templates in all project stages

Specific requirements

Education and language:

  • Completed university education, advantage is specialization in logistics or international business
  • Mandatory excellent communication skills in English language, advantage is French/Spanish


Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with international exposure and scope
  • Experience in a fast-moving operations environment, advantage is project business


Skills:

  • Proactive and solution-oriented personality, ability to work autonomously
  • Advanced level of PC skills - SAP, MS Office
  • Part of this job may include rare foreign business trips

For this Slovakia based position, the expected pay range is EUR 26.400 - EUR 39.600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives (individual and/or collective). The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within Slovakia. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.
