Following a major industrial transformation, our Gyöngyös plant has successfully integrated the production of high-power busway systems (Canalis). To support our continued growth and industrialization journey, we are looking for a talented Project Engineer to lead and execute manufacturing and investment projects that shape the future of our operations.

Your Mission

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing industrial projects from concept to implementation, ensuring successful delivery in terms of quality, cost, timing, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead manufacturing, automation, and industrialization projects from initial concept through commissioning and handover
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful execution
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Production, Maintenance, Quality, Logistics, Supply Chain, and EHS
  • Define and validate technical concepts, specifications, and equipment solutions
  • Collaborate with machine builders, suppliers, and contractors during project development and execution
  • Drive production capacity expansion, process optimization, and automation initiatives
  • Support the introduction of new products and manufacturing technologies into the plant
  • Oversee equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, and acceptance processes
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure smooth delivery
  • Ensure compliance with Schneider Electric standards, safety requirements, and sustainability objectives
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the plant's digital transformation roadmap
  • Develop business cases and investment proposals for capital expenditure projects

What We're Looking For

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 3-5 years of experience in industrial project engineering, manufacturing engineering, automation, or capital investment projects
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Fluent Hungarian and communicative English skills
  • Experience working with CAD and 3D design tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in manufacturing expansion, automation, or industrialization projects
  • Project Management certification or demonstrated project leadership experience
  • Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement knowledge
  • Experience with industrial equipment procurement and supplier management
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Creo, or similar engineering software
  • Familiarity with TPM and manufacturing excellence programs
