Mission
Responsible for accurate, timely reporting of Financial and non-financial KPIs of the Execution Center/ Hub, in strong collaboration with F&PA. Monitor and challenge project performance (P&L, Cash Curve, CCO GM evolution, etc.) supporting Tender & Execution teams, relating directly to the Project Portfolio. Ensure compliance with internal policies, local procedures and IFRS15, as well as application of business and system processes. Implementation of all project controlling relevant rules, methods, processes and tools (REL, risk/opportunity analysis/review, solution database, Solutions Guidelines, IFRS). Advise Management and Execution Center Leader on key issues and priorities (risks / loss / opportunities) to achieve targets.
Scope and Environment
Reports solid line to Power System Cluster Finance Business Partner and covers the Performance Scope relating to the Project Portfolio from OG Sales to DVC GM, including Over/under DVC recovery and all Project Portfolio Balance Sheet items. The Referent for Project Controlling - train and coach the team and should make sure that key practices are properly implemented (e.g. labor rate calculation)
Responsibilities
- Liaise with Corporate, Finance & Control functions in order to help in the follow up of financial performance of project execution: Legal, Tax, Treasury, Solution Risk Managers, Contract Managers, Contract administrators, and Finance Business analysts.
Public - As business partner during project Selling and Execution phases, support and challenge Project Manager in all relevant projects aspects with close focus/follow up on the finance activities (Revenue recognition, Margin, Cash, Tax, ...) in order to improve project financial performance.
- As business partner for tender leader to support and challenge the financial aspects for new opportunities as well with captured lessons learned from executed projects
- Build strong relationship with Project Execution controller to ensure alignment on the role and responsibilities of project controller. Help Finance & Control leader ensuring the implementation of the Financial governance as defined by the Global teams: REL, KPIs, Risk & Contract, Solutions Guidelines
- Providing to the Execution Center leader with the financial performance of project execution: margin slippage and cash performance (R-I-C). During Execution, participate and animate REL4 for the region; ensure REL 1/2/3 are in place in zones / countries. Participate to REL5.
- Ensure the pertinence of data loaded in Solution Database. Build KPI (GM OTD variation, GM backlog, etc...) in order to understand the performance of execution and to propose and support action plans to management.
- Implementation of all project controlling relevant rules, methods, processes and tools in accordance to Global Project Controlling requirements.
- Provide coaching (being Referent) and induction to the Project Controller and the team

What qualifications will make you successful?
- University and/or Business School: Master's degree or equivalent A level +5 years (either Engineering, Economics, or commercial high school degree)
- Fluent in English. Fluent/Advance in Mandarin
- 5 years of experience in Finance & Control or Project environment
- Experience as Finance Business Partner in Project environment
- Experience in a Multi-cultural team environment is a plus
Public - Strong communication skills to drive high performance and collaborate effectivelly with diverse stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills to handle complex matters in a synthetic way
- Proven leadership skills to act as trusted advisor toward different management levels
- Digital skills (e.g. RPA) is a plus
