Product Owner - R&D (Lund)
We are currently seeking a visionary Product Owner with a passion for driving innovation and leading the development of cutting-edge products. Our state-of-the-art cloud platform provides foundational technology to enable the digitization of a range of solutions that allows customers to manage Buildings in a better way.
The primary scope for this role is driving an existing product towards a multi-faceted, large-scale operational product.
K ey Responsibilities Product Vision & Roadmap
- Co‑create the product roadmap with Offer Management to ensure alignment between customer needs, technology capabilities, and regulatory and quality expectations.
- Help the team understand the "why" behind priorities to create shared purpose and clarity.
- Translate system‑level and regulatory requirements into prioritized, clear user stories, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria.
Technical Collaboration
- Work closely with system architects to support architectural decisions, assess feasibility, and manage technical risk and debt.
- Work closely with other teams and Product Owners to achieve shared impact and vision.
- Work closely with a distributed global team of developers, quality assurance and other professionals.
- Foster a culture of mastery and continuous learning within the team.
- Drive continuous improvement in ways of working to help the team deliver with agility, ownership, and measurable impact.

Stakeholder Communication
- Act as a trusted link between engineering, Quality and Product stakeholders.
- Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and trade‑offs transparently to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Required skills
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in an Agile organization
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes, virtual machines, and the general concept of hosted systems
- Strong understanding of R&D processes and software development best practices
Bonus qualifications
- Prior experience with EBO or more generally Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Experience with running and monitoring mission-critical cloud systems
- Experience with working with Azure DevOps as a backlog management tool
- Analyzing and visualizing data, querying SQL databases
Other requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for driving impactful innovation
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving priorities and challenges
- Ability and ambition to work on-site in Lund office 3x/week
- A strong desire to always learn and improve
