Mission (About the Role)

Schneider Electric is seeking a dynamic product application engineer to drive pre and post-sales activities and deliver technical support in collaboration with internal stakeholders that align with customer needs and drive business growth.

What will you do?

  1. Sales Opportunity Pursuit: Work closely with the sales team to develop and deliver technical solutions that address customers' pain points and support business opportunities.
  2. Pre-Sales Leadership: Lead and actively participate in pre-sales activities with panel builder partners, consultants, and end users. This includes research, technical presentations and demonstrations, proposal preparation, solution optimisation, and defining high-level system architectures for strategic and targeted accounts.
  3. Technical Support: Provide technical support to the sales team and customers, including product selection, specification compliance, electrical discrimination studies, and fault current calculations.
  4. Post-Sales Support: Deliver technical expertise during installation, testing, and commissioning phases through root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and on-site support when required.
  5. Training & Knowledge Sharing: Conduct product knowledge sharing sessions and technical training for both external stakeholders and internal teams.

What qualifications will make you successful?

  • Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degree
  • 2-3 years of customer interaction and on-site engineering exposure
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Strong communication skills for both customer-facing and internal interactions
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into practical engineering solutions and communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely
  • Strong team player who enjoys collaboration
  • Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Inquisitive mindset with a strong drive for continuous learning
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative
  • High level of business acumen
