Job Description:

The Digital Power Product Application Engineer (PAE) provides advanced technical pre-sales, application, and enablement support for Schneider Electric Digital Power offers. The role helps sales teams, partners, consultants, panel builders, system integrators, and end customers select, specify, design, and position effective Digital Power architectures. By combining strong product expertise, customer engagement, and disciplined opportunity support, the PAE accelerates adoption of connected products, power management software, power quality, protection, automation, and related services while ensuring solutions are aligned with customer outcomes, technical requirements, and Schneider Electric standards.

What will you do?

  • Provide technical pre-sales support for Schneider Electric Digital Power solutions, partnering with sales teams, customers, and partners to design and recommend the best solutions.
  • Analyze customer requirements and develop compliant system architectures, technical proposals, and application recommendations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on Digital Power technologies, including power monitoring, automation, power quality, protection, and EcoStruxure solutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities, support sales growth, and promote solutions that improve energy efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.
  • Deliver technical presentations, training sessions, workshops, and product demonstrations for customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality solutions, share best practices, and support partner enablement.
  • Maintain expertise in Digital Power technologies, market trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Accurately document customer interactions, technical activities, and opportunities in CRM systems while ensuring compliance with company policies.

  • Number and reusability of validated architectures, application assets, training modules, and shared best practices.
  • Quality of CRM data, activity reporting, follow-up discipline, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Adherence to technical, commercial, cybersecurity, ethical, and safety requirements.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automation, Energy Management, or a related technical field.
  • Strong practical knowledge of electrical distribution applications and of the assigned Digital Power portfolio; ability to read electrical drawings and technical specifications and convert requirements into solution architectures.
  • Experience with connected products, communication networks and protocols, edge-control architectures, power management software, or protection and automation systems is expected according to the assigned portfolio) an advantage (.
  • Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to customers, partners, consultants, and sales teams and to adapt the message to different levels of technical maturity.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, training, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Customer-first mindset, ownership, curiosity, integrity, and ability to operate effectively in a matrix and multicultural environment.
  • Professional English; local language proficiency is required for customer-facing work.
  • Digital fluency with CRM, collaboration, documentation, configuration, and productivity tools, plus willingness to travel within the assigned geography.
