Procurement Strategy Intern

We are now hiring interns for our H2 2026 cohort! Internships will start in July 2026 to December 2026. Please indicate your exact availability in your application. Students who can commit full-time will be preferred.

About the role

• You will join the Procurement Strategy and Market Intelligence team that shapes the mid-long term strategy driven by external insight and internal business priorities.
• Lead the Global Supplier Day (GSD), Schneider Electric's flagship event for suppliers, preparation and execution.
• You will work on shaping Schneider Electric's Long Term Supply Chain Plan (LTSCP), a 5 year procurement strategy roadmap that will focus on core commodity categories and transversal topics
• Perform research and provide insight on key trends that will impact the strategy across commodities, procurement ways of working and processes

What will you do?

• Work with cross-functional procurement, supply chain and finance teams
• Data analytics to identify trends and opportunities
• Develop the procurement strategy for executive presentations (EVP, SVP, VPs)
• Develop the Procurement Scorecard to measure performance and success metrics
• Work on transformation projects, as an outcome of the LTSCP process, for value realization during the internship

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

• Education: Bachelor's Engineering (Electrical, Industrial Systems, etc), Business
• Skills/Systems Knowledge:
  
  • Microsoft Office suite (Powerpoint, Excel)
  • Tableau
  • Familiar with using AI Tools to prompt for solutions and exception handling
