The Role: Procurement - Specialist Semiconductor
We are seeking highly motivated, collaborative, and forward-thinking talent with a strong enthusiasm for internal networking and driving partnerships with suppliers.
This position reports to the Global Semiconductor Category Director. As part of an international team of 20 procurement experts in semiconductors, you will be responsible for managing key strategic supplier relationships and defining the global strategy for Microcontrollers across the group.

- Lead and manage complex global procurement projects across multiple streams, ensuring successful implementation and change management
- Design and execute strategic sourcing initiatives
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships while negotiating optimal pricing and terms
- Drive procurement excellence through performance management and continuous process improvement
- Evaluate and optimize procurement activities to maximize value for both customers and company

Missions:
- Align and Drive Procurement Strategy for some technologies on semiconductors
- Build the worldwide procurement strategy, including geopolitical considerations.
- Coordinate and execute strategic initiatives with suppliers, regions, and Business Units.
- Lead the annual LTSA (Long-Term Supply Agreement) process with regions.
- Drive resilience initiatives, including BCP (Business Continuity Plan) and alternative qualifications.
Coordinate & Collaborate with Stakeholders:
- Lead the multidisciplinary group, including Procurement, TSE, and CoE (Center of Excellence) for MCU, to support Schneider Electric's growth ambitions.
- Connect with Regional Category Managers (RCMs) to deploy the strategy and influence NPIs (New Product Introductions).
- Share and promote best practices across regions related to contracts, pricing matrices, cybersecurity, and sustainability requirements.
- Drive innovation in semiconductors on your respective technologies
Supplier Relationship Management:
- Directly manage up to two semiconductor suppliers and participate in global negotiations.
- Support regional purchasers in their negotiations (tools, arguments, etc.).
- Plan business reviews with suppliers and assign tasks to respective supplier leaders in each zone.
- Deploy supplier framework agreements and ensure adoption in NPIs
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Master's degree in Supply Chain, Management, or Electronic Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience.
- Purchasing background with strong electronics knowledge.
- Proven experience in leading functional teams, networking, and collaborating at a multicultural level.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale procurement projects and strategic sourcing initiatives
- Strong expertise in both direct and indirect procurement operations
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building capabilities
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and drive change management

- Solid electronic competencies.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong influencing and persuasion skills for decision alignment.
- Proven team player with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact and negotiate with key suppliers and Schneider executives on strategic contracts and services.
