Location: Kallang
Mission (About the Role)
Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Manager, Procurement to lead and drive Transformational Procurement programs in East Asia.
What will you do?
- Drive procurement transversal projects (e.g upstream resilience, material productivity initiatives) and ensure timelines, deliverables, and other important KPI are met
- Work closely with engineering, quality, business units and manufacturing region to drive and to deliver projects deliverables
- Integrate risk management, statistical methods, and advanced financial tools to improve project execution and organizational performance.
- Drive transformational supplier co-development projects (Quality- Supply Chain- CI Kaizen) with close collaboration with regional/entity cross functional team and leaders.
- Lead and facilitate productivity workshops with suppliers to build up year by year productivity pipeline (Cost Of Goods Sold/Quality and Value Engineering/Continuous Improvement Initiatives)
- Establish strong network with global/region/entity key stakeholders and lead executive presentations with senior leadership and business unit teams
- Drive procurement transformation in areas such as sustainability, zero carbon productivity to create business value in the new energy landscape.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Minimum 10 years of procurement management from Electronics, Electrical, Automotive or Medical Equipment industry
- Background in category management/strategic sourcing/supplier development will be advantageous
- Self-driven, dynamic individual that possesses great leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure, handling ambiguity and resolving conflicts to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment
- Team player and strong in facilitating cross functional collaboration
- Strong networking with ability to influence and execute change management
- Six Sigma methodology or Scrum Certification will be advantageous
- At least 3 years exposure to project management
