What Will You Do?

As the Plant Procurement Manager, you will lead the end‑to‑end procurement strategy for the plant, ensuring the delivery of productivity, cost optimization, and supplier performance. Your responsibilities include:

  • Driving the Annual Procurement Operation Plan (APOP) for the plant.
  • Leading and coaching a high‑performing procurement team.
  • Delivering material productivity through negotiation, QVE, Change of Supplier (COS), and Supply Base Optimization (SBO).
  • Building strong partnerships with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Finance.
  • Collaborating with regional and global Category teams to execute category strategies.
  • Conducting cost variance analysis (AOC - Analysis of Change) and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate procurement policies and internal controls.
  • Driving digitization and data-driven improvements to modernize Procurement processes.
  • Working on a hybrid schedule in Monterrey, coordinating both on‑site operations and virtual engagements with global teams.

What Will Make You Successful?
Experience & Knowledge
  • 7-10 years in Procurement / Strategic Sourcing for direct materials in manufacturing.
  • 2-3 years of leadership experience.
  • Expertise in negotiations, cost management, forecasting, P&L, SRM, and category management.
  • Experience with regional or global supply chain structures.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strategic mindset + strong execution discipline.
  • Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
  • Advanced analytical skills and data‑based decision‑making.
  • Ability to lead teams and manage ambiguity.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ERPs.
  • Inglés avanzado (B2+/C1) para negociación, presentaciones y reuniones globales.
  • Highly collaborative and comfortable in a hybrid work model.
