Procurement Manager

The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading, developing, and executing the procurement strategy for a cluster of plants while driving supplier performance, business continuity, cost productivity, and operational excellence. This role partners closely with plant operations, supply chain, category management, and business leaders to ensure resilient supply, strong supplier relationships, and alignment with regional and global procurement objectives.

What will you do:

  • Lead and operationalize the procurement plan for a cluster of plants, ensuring alignment with business growth, industrial footprint, and regional procurement objectives.
  • Serve as the key interface between plant operations, supply chain, category management, and suppliers to ensure business continuity, supply resiliency, and strong procurement performance.
  • Manage day-to-day supplier operations and execute sourcing initiatives, including supplier identification, negotiation, contract finalization, and ongoing supplier relationship management.
  • Drive productivity, cost savings, and performance improvement through procurement levers such as supplier rebalancing, quality value engineering, lean initiatives, and category strategy execution.
  • Lead complex negotiations, oversee contract lifecycle management, monitor supplier performance, maintain procurement dashboards and forecasts, and ensure compliance with procurement excellence standards.

What will make you successful:
  • Strong experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or related functions, with the ability to lead procurement strategy across multiple sites or a plant cluster.
  • Proven success in supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, and driving measurable cost savings and operational improvements.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing or industrial procurement environments, including supply resiliency, category strategy, and supplier performance management.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills, with experience maintaining forecasts, dashboards, and procurement performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities, including the ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead procurement professionals.


Additional Requirements

Experience:
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, or related areas.
  • Proven experience managing procurement operations in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Experience leading regional, multi-site, or cluster-level sourcing initiatives and supporting plant or business growth strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex negotiations, develop supplier strategies, and deliver cost-saving and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Background in supplier performance management, contract lifecycle management, category strategy, and procurement planning.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and procurement analytics tools.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, International Business or a related field.
  • A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, CSCP, CPM are highly desirable.
