Continuous Improvement Engineer
*GTA (Global Technology Alliance) is part of the energy management/power systems business of Schneider Electric. GTA has 370+ Electrical & Mechanical Engineers that offer Engineering (Order Engineering, Product enhancement/maintenance, Electrical CAD Content Creation etc.) and Quotation services to the ETO (Engineer to Order) plants of Schneider Electric in North America, Europe, India etc. The team continues to grow in numbers and expand its footprint to serve other geographies, which demands a need for dedicated leaders for Continuous Improvement & Quality for Engineering and Quotations.
This position is responsible for leading continuous improvement efforts across a diverse landscape, aligning front-office and back-office people, processes, and technology to transform our Project Engineering & Quotations domain to gain consistency in practices and customer experience worldwide, while optimizing across operations, specialized support, system-wide governance, and continuous improvement.

- Functional workstream leader for the engineering/quotation domain with a focus on end-to-end order execution/quote excellence.
- Opportunity to deploy and lead the quality strategy for the GTA team.
- Serve as the primary point of contact within the project execution domain to effectively resolve barriers, implement solutions, and support continuous improvement.
- Provide experience and exposure opportunities to leverage the Electrifier community & sharing of ideas, and leveraging best practices by leading the OE Communities of Practice
- Serve as the Quality champion for their location to analyze OCN data and identify quality initiatives to deliver end-to-end engineering/quotes quality and customer satisfaction.
- Audit/Lead SPS(Schneider Performance System) Front End activities for GTA Team.
- Identify training & development needs across the total engineering/quotes domain.
- Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria (based upon SPS principles) for obtaining results.
- Work across several lines of business with multiple stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Utilize Lean skills to address complex process opportunities with simple solutions.
- Identify constraints to achieving goals and collaborate to find and implement effective solutions.
- Align Order Execution processes across all project engineering teams.
- Input into our future tools, processes, and business transformation projects (Titan, SE Advantage, ACE OE, SEE XP, Central Scheduling/Loading)
Primary Skills and Qualifications

- BE/Btech (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial). Open to others if it suits the requirement.
- Minimum of 8+ years experience in engineering, quality management, & continuous improvement projects.
- Quality and Continuous Improvement Skills: 7QC tools, Lean 6sigma Green Belt, FMEA, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Quality Function Deployment (QFD), Value Stream Mapping (VSM),
- Engineering Skills: Knowledge of CAD, PDM, and associated engineering applications.
- Demonstrated business acumen, time, and priority management skills.
- Ability to drive process and culture change in a mature organization with success in leading improvement activities and delivering results.
- Collaborative, proactive, and able to adapt to a dynamic and fast-changing environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills, including but not limited to the ability to handle multiple demands and assignments in parallel, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Demonstrate ability to perform root cause analysis and develop action plans to eliminate barriers strategically utilizing problem-solving tools.
- Self-directed, reliable, and results-oriented individual who drives results themselves and through others, resulting in tangible positive impacts on Key performance indicators.
