Are you ready to lead the digital transformation to create a more sustainable world?

If you are up to challenge your creativity and make an impact, we are excited to welcome you!

Schneider Digital is the digital department of Schneider Electric, leading the digital transformation in the company by giving support globally to our internal teams and our clients. Schneider Digital consists of 6 Digital Hubs worldwide which are strategically located to ensure a 24/7 support across the company (France, China, India, USA, Mexico and Spain). Our Digital Hub in Barcelona is formed by +450 employees working in strategic projects and different roles such as Data, Cybersecurity, ERP, Cloud, Infrastructures, IT Project Management or Digital Marketing.

We are looking for a Product Manager - Cybersecurity to help shape and deliver the next generation of secure, cloudnative data platform capabilities. This is a senior individual contributor role with end-to-end ownership of cybersecurity product capabilities across a complex, global ecosystem.

Reporting to the VP of Product Management, the Principal Product Manager for Cybersecurity partners with Portfolio Managers to shape cybersecurity initiatives and owns the definition and prioritization capabilities endtoend. The role is responsible for defining scope, outcomes, and acceptance standards, and for ensuring Engineering Product Owners have clear, actionable backlogs to execute.

You will operate at the intersection of product strategy, cybersecurity, engineering delivery, and regulation, translating security and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable platform capabilities that engineering teams can build and operate at scale.

What will make you successful:

Strategy Contribution

  • Partner with Portfolio Managers during planning cycles to shape cybersecurity initiatives, contributing domain expertise, regulatory context, and risk awareness to shape scope, sequencing, and acceptance standards.
  • Identify and surface cross‑domain dependencies early to support effective sequencing and delivery.

Own cybersecurity capabilities definition and roadmap end to end
  • Own the definition and delivery accountability for cybersecurity capabilities across multiple domains, including:
    • Identity & Access Management and Authorization Services
    • Zero Trust and Multi‑Tenancy Security
    • Cloud, Data, and Platform Security
    • Security Operations and Detection Capabilities
    • Secure Device Connectivity and Device / Fleet Lifecycle Management
    • External Certification and Compliance Enablement
  • Depth is expected in selected domains, with outcome ownership and strong coordination across the broader cybersecurity capability landscape.
  • Define clear outcomes, acceptance criteria, service‑level objectives, and compliance expectations for each capability.
  • Ensure requirements are clear, testable, and ready for engineering delivery.
  • Embed Security by Design and Privacy by Design principles into all capability definitions.

Translate regulation into product outcomes
  • Ensure initiatives align with applicable regulations and standards, including NIS2, the Cyber Resilience Act, IEC 62443, GDPR, and ISO 27001.
  • Maintain requirements traceability from regulatory obligations through to delivery evidence, supporting certification audits and governance reviews.
  • Act as a trusted product voice in discussions where security, delivery, and business priorities must be balanced.

Collaborate closely with engineering
  • Hand off well‑defined epics and capabilities to Engineering Product Owners, who own sprint planning and execution.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for requirement clarification and scope interpretation throughout delivery.
  • Manage scope changes and emerging risks in collaboration with engineering and Portfolio Managers.

Engage Customers, Stakeholder & Governance
  • Collaborate with security, architecture, operations, infrastructure, and risk stakeholders to ensure cybersecurity capabilities are coherent, auditable, and operationally effective.
  • Communicate capability status, risks, and compliance posture to platform and business leadership.
  • Engage with customers, field teams, and partners to validate cybersecurity capabilities against real‑world requirements and contractual obligations.

What Success Looks Like
  • Cybersecurity requirements are clearly translated into product capabilities that engineering teams can deliver effectively.
  • Regulatory and contractual security obligations are consistently embedded into platform capabilities with traceable evidence.
  • Security outcomes are balanced with delivery priorities in a complex, dependency‑rich environment.
  • Stakeholders trust the role as a clear, objective voice on cybersecurity scope, priorities, and trade‑offs.

What we're looking for:

Experience
  • Significant experience in product management (typically 5+ years), including at least 3 years in cybersecurity, cloud security, or IoT / industrial platform environments.
  • Experience operating in a layered product organization, contributing to strategic planning while owning detailed capability definition.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority across a complex, multi-team organisation - drive alignment across portfolio, engineering, security operations, architecture, legal, and compliance stakeholders around shared cybersecurity objectives.

Security & technical background
  • Broad knowledge across cybersecurity domains, including security operations, cloud and data protection, device and system security, and external certification.
  • Solid knowledge of identity and access management concepts.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity regulations and standards such as NIS2, Cyber Resilience Act, IEC 62443, GDPR, and the ability to translate them into product requirements.
  • Ability to translate security risks and regulatory requirements into actionable product capabilities.

Ways of working
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for engineers, architects, compliance teams, and senior leadership.
  • Be a structured and analytical thinker for dependency-aware planning, gap analysis, and risk prioritisation across multiple concurrent capability tracks.
  • Be collaborative and outcome-driven - brings teams together around shared objectives rather than siloed deliverables.
  • Feel comfortable operating in ambiguity - able to maintain delivery momentum when requirements or organisational context are evolving.
  • Communicate with clarity and precision across audiences - translating technical security requirements into business and regulatory language for leadership, and delivery specifics for engineering teams.
  • Rally cross-functional teams around shared security maturity goals, building alignment on what good looks like across engineering, operations, and compliance functions.
  • Operate with structured discipline and outcome-focus - managing multiple concurrent capability tracks without losing sight of acceptance criteria, compliance traceability, or delivery commitments.
  • Embrace dependency-rich environments, proactively mapping risks and blockers before they escalate into delivery problems.

Education & Certifications
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CSSLP, or equivalent are a plus.
  • Fluent in English; additional European language (French, Spanish, German) is a plus.
