You will become part of the One Solution Centre (OSC), Schneider Electric's premier engineering hub for bespoke power infrastructure across the Pacific.

The OSC designs and delivers integrated Low and Medium Voltage solutions, including switchgear, switchboards, prefabricated switchrooms, busway systems, kiosks, transformers, and modular substations. By combining global innovation with disciplined local execution, the team strengthens grid resilience and supports customers in achieving their sustainability and performance goals.

About the Role

We're looking for a Principal Engineer, Digital Power & EPMS to join our One Solutions team and help shape the digital architectures behind some of the world's largest data centre, cloud, AI, and mission-critical infrastructure projects.

This role is ideal for a highly experienced digital infrastructure specialist who enjoys combining technical expertise, customer engagement, innovation, and industry influence. Working closely with customers, consultants, strategic account teams, Digital Energy specialists, and Schneider Electric technical leaders, you will define future-ready digital architectures, influence technical standards, and support the development of scalable, secure, resilient, and data-driven operational platforms for hyperscale and mission-critical environments.

What You'll Be Doing

• Acting as the recognised technical authority for Digital Power, EPMS, Energy Management, and power automation solutions across strategic customers and key opportunities.
• Building trusted relationships with customer engineering teams, consultants, digital infrastructure teams, and technical decision-makers.
• Leading digital architecture workshops, technical consultations, and strategic discussions with customers and consultants.
• Developing conceptual digital architectures integrating EPMS, SCADA, BMS, power monitoring, analytics, automation, and operational technologies.
• Supporting customers in developing scalable, resilient, secure, and data-driven operational platforms for new data centre developments and expansions.
• Influencing customer specifications, design standards, integration philosophies, and digital infrastructure strategies.
• Supporting the adoption of Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure Power portfolio, including EcoStruxure Power Operation (EPO).
• Collaborating with Lines of Business and engineering teams to identify opportunities for innovation and future technology adoption.
• Providing thought leadership on digital transformation, operational technologies, analytics platforms, cybersecurity, and next-generation data centre operations.
• Mentoring technical teams and contributing to Communities of Practice, capability building, and knowledge sharing across the organisation.
• Representing Schneider Electric at customer engagements, industry forums, and technical events when required

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years' experience in EPMS, SCADA, Digital Energy, power automation, industrial control systems, or mission-critical digital infrastructure.
• Strong experience supporting hyperscale, cloud, colocation, internet giants, or large-scale data centre customers.
• Strong expertise in Digital Power architectures, EPMS, SCADA, power monitoring, energy management systems, BMS integration, data analytics, system integration platforms, and operational technologies supporting mission-critical environments.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols and integration standards including OPC, Modbus, IEC 61850, BACnet, and related technologies.
• Strong understanding of digital system integration, operational technologies, cybersecurity principles, and critical infrastructure architectures.
• Proven ability to influence technical decisions and engage effectively with senior engineering stakeholders, consultants, and customer leadership teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a passion for digital innovation, software platforms, analytics, and continuous learning.
• Experience working across international or multi-country environments will be highly regarded.
