Services Business at Schneider Electric is a 3 B+ business with strong growth ambitions.

To enable this acceleration, Services Business is performing a Global transformation of its operating model, processes and digital capabilities (Offer, Pricing, Quotation, Service Execution)

In this context, the Principal, Digital Deployment Leader - Squad Lead plays a key role to plan and deliver the digital transformation projects in a given geography.

As such, it will ensure that, for the countries under its perimeter / geography, Services Business is digitally ready for:

  • Meeting Services growth ambitions
  • Services offers launch, including hero offers (e.g. EcoCare)
  • UNIFY deployment (J2R / Journey-to-Readiness)


The Principal, Digital Deployment Leader - Squad Lead is leading a perimeter / geography (= "Squad"; typically International Ops, Europe Ops, ...), on which it will ensure the planning, preparation and delivery of Services Digital Transformations in countries.

Services Transformation Program portfolio is expected to accelerate to more than 50+ active projects per year - typically 10 to 20 per geography - requiring a high level of anticipation, coordination and preparation.

Scope of the Transformation: Offer, Pricing (Pricefx), Quotation (Oracle CPQ), Execution (bFS / Salesforce/ServiceMax)

a. Plan, staff & manage geography stakeholders - "Transformation" Account manager role
  • Own the transformation roadmap in the geography / squad: which countries / streams, in close coordination with Services Line of Business, and in accordance with the deployment methodology
  • Align with Ops/Country stakeholders on the transformation roadmap, set the capacity planning regarding the various project roles for Digital and prepare staffing. Also, anticipate country staffing regarding "Digital" local roles.
  • Together with E2E Transformation Leader - Business (Power Couple), manage relationship with Ops/Country stakeholders and be the "Program Digital SPOC" in the assigned geography (towards BU VPs, Country Management).

b. Deliver projects, report & secure feedback loop with E2E Solution - Delivery manager role
  • Ensure the delivery of the project activities, until project close.
  • Coordinate with squad contributors and country/local teams on legacy applications decommissioning, in synchronization with target applications roll-out / adoption planning
  • Report on projects' status / progress, raise risks & escalations if any

c. Enable adoption / value realization & secure transition to run - Value manager role
  • Support the roll-out the performance management framework (KPIs, Adoption, enabling processes, ...), the setting of country performance baseline - as-is - and preliminary KPI targets.
  • Secure the handover and transition to Run mode to Business / Digital accountable for Run.
  • Review KPIs / Performance and adoption driven by GCP&SO, and contribute to improvement action plans when relevant.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Business or Engineering Degree
  • 10+ years in Digital delivery and/or Program/Project Management and/or Consulting
  • Strong foundations on ERP technologies (SAP & Oracle) and integration frameworks.
  • Knowledge of CPQ (ideally Oracle, possibly Salesforce or other market solutions) and Service Execution platforms (ideally Salesforce ServiceMax, possibly other Salesforce modules).
  • Quote-to-Cash processes experience (Project costing / tendering, Orders, ...) is a strong plus.
  • Business Analyst experience preferred.
  • Proven successful experience and track record in large scale business / digital transformation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate and convince at various levels of the organization, and in a multicultural environment. Exposure to international settings / various geographies is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of Services Business and/or Digital Customer Relationship and/or UNIFY transformations is a strong plus.
