PMO/Strategic Analyst

Overview
This role is responsible for driving some of the ONE Service Strategy Program over the next 2-3 years, orchestrating strategy governance, performance frameworks, and progress tracking across strategic accelerators and transformative enablers. The PMO / Strategy Analyst partners with Service leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to diagnose status quo, define objectives and growth levers, and standardize project management practices that ensure disciplined execution and measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnostics & Insights: conduct analyses on market, customer, operational and financial data to identify gaps and opportunities with regards to the strategic priority areas for Services (business accelerators & enablers); identify key growth levers and translate them into prioritized transformation programs and projects.
- Business Planning: co-create business plans for each strategic priority area together with SMEs of the Global Service domain which are feeding into Operating Plans of market (OPS/Zone) and strategic plans of Division.
- Program & Project Portfolio Management: ensure that for each identified strategic program scope definition, milestone planning, risk/issue management, and benefits tracking are established; ensure disciplined execution, milestone adherence, and risk mitigation across all strategic programs.
- Strategy Governance: define and continuously safeguard roles & responsibilities, decision rights, and manage steering cadence (monthly / quarterly).
- Performance Framework: define KPIs, OKRs, baselines, targets, and measurement methods; ensure data integrity and timeliness.
- Progress Tracking & Reporting: maintain KPI dashboard; produce monthly status reports with achievements, variances, and recovery actions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Provide ongoing business partnering to all Services Functions to align plans, resolve issues, and unblock execution; drive change management & communications with regards to the Service Strategy Program
- Program & Project Management Standards & Support: develop templates, playbooks, and reporting standards; coach project owners and workstream leads.
- Compliance & Quality: enforce documentation standards, audit readiness, and continuous improvement in Program & Project Management practices.
- Tooling: administer project portfolio tools and analytics dashboards; improve automation and visualization for decision-making.

- A single, aligned ONE Service Strategy Program with clear ownership and delivery of roadmap strategic initiatives to achieve Service ambitions.
- Reliable KPI dashboard and timely monthly status reporting enabling fact-based decisions.
- Strong portfolio discipline: prioritized initiatives, on-time milestones, and realized benefits.
- Effective business partnering resulting in aligned Operating Plans in Zones & Regions as well as Division Strategy Plans.
- Adoption of Program & Project Management standards & toolkits across all transformation programs.
Performance Management (KPIs)
- Strategy Program KPI attainment (e.g., revenue growth, margin improvement, NPS, productivity).
- Portfolio delivery metrics: milestone adherence %, cycle-time, benefits realization vs. plan.
- Governance effectiveness: % of forums held on schedule; closure rate of actions/RISKS/ISSUES.
- Data quality & timeliness: on-time reporting %, reconciliation accuracy.
- Stakeholder alignment: satisfaction scores; adoption of standards across functions.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or related; MBA or Master's in Strategy/Operations preferred.
- Experience: 5-8 years in Strategy PMO, corporate strategy, transformation, or program management in Services/Industrial/Tech sectors.
- Methodologies: PMBOK/PRINCE2, OKRs, Lean/Six Sigma; familiarity with portfolio management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA).
- Analytics: strong Excel/Power BI skills; ability to build KPI dashboards and financial models.
- Soft skills: structured thinking, stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and change management.
