As the PMO Leader for the Nordics Zone, you will be the driving force behind transformational initiatives that shape the future of project execution and delivery in the Zone. This role goes beyond traditional governance-it is about leading change, implementing innovative processes, and enabling digital transformation to make project management more agile, efficient, and scalable.

You will ensure robust governance and reporting across the Zone's project portfolio, while spearheading strategic programs that redefine how projects are managed. Acting as a catalyst for change, you will collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to embed best practices, optimize tools, and deliver measurable improvements in performance and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

  • Transformation Leadership: Drive Zone-level initiatives to modernize project management processes, tools, and methodologies, ensuring scalability and agility.
  • Digital Enablement: Lead the adoption of digital platforms and automation to improve project visibility, reporting, and execution efficiency.
  • Governance & Standards: Define and enforce project management frameworks, ensuring compliance and consistency across all projects.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs (cost, schedule, quality) and provide actionable insights to leadership for strategic decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify gaps and implement process enhancements to optimize delivery and customer experience.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with project managers, tendering leaders, and Zone leadership to align transformation goals with business priorities.
  • Change Management: Act as a champion for cultural and operational change, ensuring smooth adoption of new practices across the organization.


Key Qualities and Skills
  • Visionary Leadership: Ability to lead transformational programs and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic Thinking: Skilled at aligning PMO initiatives with long-term business objectives.
  • Change Management Expertise: Experience driving organizational change and embedding new processes.
  • Digital Mindset: Familiarity with project management tools, automation technologies, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and foster cooperation across functions.


Essential for the role
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or Project Management.
  • Several years of experience in PMO leadership or project management roles with a strong focus on transformation.
  • Proven track record in implementing digital tools and driving process automation.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Agile).
  • Proficiency in project management platforms and analytics tools.
  • Fluent in English; a Nordic language is an asset.
