Outside Solutions Sales Representative (OSSR)

Working in a dynamic, matrix environment, The Outside Solutions Sales Representative, Secure Power Services will provide ongoing support to clients, channel partners and internal sellers and implement business strategies to achieve profitable business relationships and identify new revenue opportunities with major accounts across Western Canada region.

You will set the vision, develop and execute sales strategies, and foster a high-performance culture in this crucial role to achieve and exceed our ambitious growth objectives for Secure Power Services.

Scope and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute the sales strategy for Western Canada from Mid-West to Pacific regions.
  • Drive revenue growth through end‑users while ensuring seamless fulfillment via partners: distributors, contractors, consultants, and resellers.
  • Perform customer-facing activities to determine project needs and provide an appropriate value-added technical solution. Become the key 'first point of contact' for these customers and engage other Schneider businesses.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at every level, including C‑suite executives.
  • Deeply understand the technical and commercial applications of Secure Power Services solutions and articulate their value effectively.
  • Work autonomously in a remote environment while managing a geographically dispersed territory.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations to industry groups and executive audiences.
  • Manage a personal funnel of accounts & opportunities via the company CRM, accurately report and forecast on her/his activities and opportunities.
  • Works closely with Inside Service Sales Representatives and the BU account manager to maximize business opportunities.
  • Educates customers on Schneider Electric services with special attention on Recurring, Eco-Consult and digital Offers.

What qualifications will make you successful in this role?

  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial domain preferably selling products, services, or solutions to end customers and/or through channel partners
  • University degree or college diploma (engineering or technical field preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of the Western Canada market, including customer needs, regional trends, and partner ecosystems.
  • Strong business and financial acumen; proactive, self‑driven approach.
  • Experience influencing diverse stakeholders in technical and commercial environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel 30% of time - Some overnight travel across the territory, within Canada, across North America and globally.
