Order Management Supervisor

The Order Management Supervisor will be responsible for supervising Order Management staff as well as overseeing dotted line responsibilities for Purchasing support to Ecofit Canada Operations.

Key duties include, managing the team in supplying accurate, thorough, timely and quality service to internal and external customers. Driving safe work practices. Achieve business growth and success through management of orders, cost, talent management, employee engagement, collaborative work with all functions, continuous process improvements, cost savings and supply base management

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support, leadership and guidance to staff in meeting internal and external Customers' needs. Ensuring team provision of accurate thorough, professional, timely and quality service to all customers.
  • Manage development of resource talent per business guidelines, ensuring availability of adequate resources to support ongoing business requirements
  • Facilitate weekly production meetings covering Open Order Backlog reports, ensuring resolution of any issues preventing timely Engineering release, Scheduling, Manufacturing and Shipment of orders.
  • Provide support and assistance to staff in resolving complex issues.
  • Monitoring Order Management and Purchasing work activities to support on time delivery of orders.
  • Create, review, update Quality procedures and conduct staff training to support adherence to attained certifications and Schneider's Quality Policy.
  • Manage departmental Quality documentation and process reviews in preparation for Audits and represent Order Management and Purchasing for Internal and External Quality Audits.
  • Support continuous process improvements; ensuring NCR's and CARs / PA's are actioned within established KPI timelines.
  • Lead and implement process / efficiency improvement projects as necessary.
  • Assist with achievement of Ecofit Canada monthly and annual financial goals (Order / Sales / Margin) to support overall Business Growth
  • Monitor and initiate creation and updates to Order Management Tableau and S4 Hanna based tools to drive ongoing efficiency improvements
  • Maintain Purchasing data integrity in SAP S4 Hanna to support accurate quoting and costing of jobs.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing on cost avoidance opportunities and achievement of material productivity savings
  • Support and assist Purchasing in addressing supplier delivery and quality issues to uphold Ecofit Canada timely delivery of quality products.
  • Support and adhere to all safety requirements

Qualifications and Skills required:
  • The job requires a degree in Business, Marketing or Supply Chain Management.
  • Other qualifications include prior experience in managing Customer Service team emphasizing Excellence, Presentation Skills, Decision Making, Coaching, Supervision, Quality Management, Product Management, Market Knowledge, Delegation, Foster Teamwork, Giving Feedback
