Order Entry Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Order Entry Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately processing customer orders and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

What will you do:

  • Execute order administration functions to perform order processing transactions in the ERP and PA (Project Accounting) modules with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Review and verify order information, including pricing, product sku's, and shipping details.
  • Communicate with internal departments (Project Coordination Support, PC, PM) to resolve PO discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized records of orders and related documentation within Service Now.
  • Provide support for customer inquiries related to order status.
  • Identify and escalate issues that may impact order conversion or customer satisfaction.
  • May require occasional overtime during peak periods.

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
  • Excellent communication abilities to effectively coordinate with multiple stakeholders

  • Proficiency in order management systems and Microsoft Office suite

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $66,000.00- $99,000.00 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric also offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees, inclusive of medical (with member reward points), dental, vision, and basic life insurance, Benefit Bucks (credits to apply towards your benefits) flexible work arrangements, paid family leaves, 401(k) + match, well-being and recognition (including service anniversary) programs, 12 holidays per year, 15 days of paid time off per year (pro-rated in the first year of employment based on start date) , opportunity to purchase company stock (eligibility depends on start date), and military leave benefits.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in order entry, data entry, customer service, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and experience with ERP or order management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle high-volume order processing.
