Operator II, Maintenance Operations

Join our maintenance operations team as an Operator II and play a key role in keeping our equipment reliable and our operations running smoothly. You'll coordinate maintenance activities, manage inventory, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

What will you do?

  • Conveyor and Industrial Wrapper Maintenance
    - Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on conveyor systems and industrial wrappers.
    - Identify and replace faulty components, including belts, bearings, motors, PLC, and sensors.
    - Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
  • General Building Maintenance
    - Complete general building repairs, including lighting, plumbing, carpentry, and basic electrical work.
    - Maintain safety standards and adhere to building codes and regulations.

    Preventative Maintenance & Documentation
    - Implement preventive maintenance schedules across all relevant systems and equipment.
    - Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.

    Safety and Compliance
    - Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
    - Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns.

What are the key skills we are looking for?
  • Acts as a lead for machine, equipment and tool maintenance and repair; works individually with limited supervision.
  • Actively seeks opportunities to streamline and improve all production activities across all functional teams in a collaborative manner.
  • Follows in-process inspection procedures, checks quality of work visually, and verifies inspections by completing records.
  • Able to work potential overtime or after hour support / critical issues / Emergency callouts when needed.
  • Escalates barriers and issues immediately to supervisor and necessary support functions.
  • Experienced in troubleshooting and repairing machinery and equipment.
  • Knowledge and experience in general maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to follow all safety procedures and programs per company policies. This could include but is not limited to lockout/tagout, fall protection and any other safety procedures necessary to complete the work assignment safely.
  • Other duties as assign.

What qualifications will make you successful?
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, including conveyor systems, industrial wrappers, building maintenance.
  • Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills, with experience in electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for industrial maintenance.
  • Ability to read technical diagrams, manuals, and blueprints.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment, including standing, walking, and climbing ladders.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours (3 shifts operations / 24 hours), including potential overtime and emergency callouts.

Current hourly pay range $22-$31
