For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $136,000 - $204,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. About the Role

Schneider Electric is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a multi-site campus manufacturing operation. This strategic role is accountable for driving performance across Safety, Quality, Service, Cost, and Sustainability, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with business objectives. You will oversee production activities across sites, optimize resources for efficiency and profitability, and foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What You Will Do

  • Provide strategic oversight for campus operations, ensuring delivery of results across key performance metrics.
  • Lead and develop site leadership teams-including Production Managers, Maintenance, EHS, and Quality-to drive operational excellence.
  • Set and monitor production targets, capacity planning, and resource allocation to meet customer demand and growth objectives.
  • Champion Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives; implement standardized processes and visual management.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO 9001), safety regulations (OSHA), and environmental requirements (ISO 14001).
  • Drive cost optimization through labor productivity, OEE improvement, scrap reduction, and capital planning.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, and HR to support new product introductions and cost-effective strategies.
  • Oversee campus-wide safety programs and sustainability initiatives, maintaining a zero-injury culture.
  • Monitor and report KPIs, ensuring timely corrective actions and continuous improvement plans.
  • Build a high-performance culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and company values.

Travel: Up to 20% (depending on business needs)

What Qualifications You Need?

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field required; MBA preferred.

Experience
  • 10+ years in manufacturing operations, including 5+ years in multi-site or campus-level leadership.
  • Proven ability to lead large, complex organizations and deliver results across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Sustainability.
  • Strong background in Lean transformation, continuous improvement, and advanced manufacturing practices.

Skills
  • Strategic leadership and ability to influence at all levels.
  • Expertise in Lean/Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L management and cost optimization.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau preferred).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team development skills.
