Operational Pricing Specialist

Mission :

The mission of the Operational Pricing Specialist is to ensure the accurate, compliant, and efficient application of Schneider Electric's pricing agreements and mechanisms across the UK & Ireland markets. By working closely with the sales community, offer managers, channel leads, governance teams, and distribution partners, the role safeguards that customers receive the correct level of price support aligned with commercial criteria. The specialist drives business growth by managing the full lifecycle of pricing agreements, providing analytical insights, enabling transparency, and ensuring operational excellence in all pricing-related processes.

Key responsibilities:

    • Review and process price support requests from the sales community, ensuring accurate and timely handling
    • Manage the full lifecycle of long ‑ term pricing agreements, from creation to renewal or closure
    • Act as a central point of contact for price ‑ related enquiries, collaborating closely with sales teams and internal stakeholders
    • Develop deep expertise in Schneider Electric's global pricing tools and pricing condition types, providing guidance and support to internal users
    • Deliver reporting and analytics on pricing topics to enable transparency and data ‑ driven decisions
    • Ensure new and existing price support activities remain compliant with commercial policies and governance requirements
    • Lead training sessions on pricing processes, systems, and best practices for internal stakeholders
    • Lead, support, and deploy initiatives related to pricing and commercial policy to enhance operational efficiency and compliance


Skills and attributes:

    • Relevant commercial experience within a business environment
    • Confidence working with process ‑ driven software (SAP, CPQ, Salesforce, Outlook, Tableau) or the ability and willingness to quickly develop proficiency
    • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data handling and analysis
    • Strong decision ‑ making ability, particularly in driving compliance and adhering to commercial policy
    • Ability to clearly explain pricing concepts, processes, and requirements to internal and external stakeholders
    • Excellent organisational and time ‑ management capabilities, with a structured and reliable working style
    • Proven contributor to organisational change, demonstrating adaptability and a continuous ‑ improvement mindset
