About the Role
Drive business growth by developing and managing relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in Japan. Promote industrial automation solutions, negotiate contracts, and ensure customer satisfaction while achieving sales targets.
What will you do?
- Identify and implement strategic approaches to target OEMs (machinery and equipment manufacturers) primarily in the Western Japan region
- Develop and execute sales strategies (account plans) to achieve revenue and market share goals
- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and presentations
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key customers
- Provide exceptional customer service and act as a trusted advisor
- Research and analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs
- Recommend product improvements and new solutions based on market feedback
- Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to ensure technical alignment
- Manage sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline using CRM tool

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
- Knowledge or interest in industrial automation products
- Corporate sales experience or technical sales experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Long-term customer building experience
- Ability to use English is desirable
- Knowledge of industrial software and networks is a plus
- Obtain a regular driver's license

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Bachelor's degree or higher (science and engineering field preferred)
