National Key Account Manager - The Home Depot
Schneider Electric Canada is seeking a strategic and results-driven Key Account Manage r to lead our most critical retail partnership, The Home Depot Canada .
This role is responsible for driving profitable growth, expanding market share, and strengthening category leadership-particularly in high-growth segments such as EV charging, smart home, and energy management.
As a trusted partner, you will lead joint business planning and bring forward innovative solutions that support connected, energy-efficient living for Canadian consumers.
This is a high-visibility role with direct impact on Schneider Electric Canada's growth strategy. The position is national in scope and reports to the Director, Retail Solutions.
What will you do:
1. Strategic Account Leadership
- Lead and execute the Joint Business Plan aligned to growth objectives
- Develop and implement multi-year strategies to expand category presence and market share
- Advise Home Depot leadership on category opportunities and consumer trends
2. Business Performance & Growth
- Own revenue, profitability, and overall account performance
- Deliver against sales targets, forecasts, and key performance indicators
- Drive growth through product launches, assortment optimization, pricing, and omni-channel expansion
3. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships across merchant, category, and executive levels
- Lead business reviews with clear, insight-driven recommendations
- Influence decision-making within a complex retail environment
4. Category & Customer Strategy
- Use data and insights to shape category strategies and identify growth opportunities
- Translate key trends into actionable retail programs
- Partner with marketing to execute effective in-store and digital initiatives
5. Crosss-Functional Leadership
- Align internal teams across marketing, supply chain, product management, finance, and customer care
- Ensure consistent execution across all customer touchpoints
6. Operational Excellence
- Oversee forecasting, inventory health, and demand planning inputs
- Resolve issues proactively with a customer-first mindset
- Improve processes to enhance efficiency and execution
What will make you successful:
- 7+ years of experience working with a large national retail client (Home Depot or similar) as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or other equivalent role
- Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in a relevant discipline
- Demonstrated success in owning and growing a multi-million dollar retail P&L
- Strong track record of strategic planning, negotiation, and execution at scale
- Ability to influence and present at senior executive levels (internal & external)
- Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging data to drive decisions
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Highly collaborative with the ability to lead without direct authority
- Ability to travel up 60% nationally and sometimes internationally

What's in it for you:
The compensation range for this full-time position, which includes base pay and short-term incentive, is $129,600-$172,800 for candidates who are Ontario residents. Our salary ranges are determ ined by including roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determ ined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric also offers an inclusive benefits package to supp ort al l of our employees such as flexible work arrangements, paid family leaves, pension matching, well-being programs, holidays & paid time off, and more.
