MRO Specialist - Industrial Sales and Accounts

We make sure they have the right electrical products and services to keep their operations running smoothly, while helping them modernise and reduce costs.
Purpose of the Role
As an MRO Specialist, you'll be the go-to expert for maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) solutions. Your mission is to grow Schneider Electric's presence with selected key end users in collaboration with selected Wholesaler partners, to protect and expand our existing install base, and lead initiatives that improve efficiency and reduce downtime. You'll use data and digital tools to make smart decisions, build strong relationships, and deliver measurable improvements for customers.
What You'll Do
- Work with wholesaler Group Head office and selected branches that support targeted End User sites to ensure they are supported with supply of electrical products as part of their maintenance repair and operations.
- Grow Schneider Electric's industrial product range with these selected customers and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Develop account business plans to develop customers and win conversion business from competitors
- Review install base data to spot gaps and suggest upgrades or alternatives for older products
- Lead initiatives such as product conversions, process improvements, and inventory optimization to reduce costs and improve inventory efficiency
- Manage End User contract pricing and stock issues with wholesaler partner to ensure End User sites get what they need quickly
- Participate in joint business reviews and planning sessions with Wholesaler partners
- Use digital tools (CRM, analytics, product selectors) to track sales, manage accounts, and measure initiatives.
- Train customers and partners on digital platforms that make ordering and managing products easier
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, technical support, pricing, marketing) to solve customer issues fast
- Share insights and best practices with colleagues and partners
- Keep accurate records of all account activities and provide regular reports to management
- Measure and communicate the business impact of initiatives delivered

What We're Looking For
- Electrical engineering qualification or equivalent experience in industrial automation
- Experience in sales or account management within an industrial setting
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions
- Comfortable using digital tools and learning new technology
- Proactive and organised, with a focus on delivering results
- Traits that set you apart: growth mindset, learning agility, problem-solving, and ability to work independently
