We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Custom Design Engineering (CDE) team supporting Engineer-to-Order (ETO) switchboards, power distribution equipment, and other customized solutions for data centers and critical facility applications. This role is integral to the design, documentation, and optimization of mechanical assemblies within complex electrical distribution systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong 3D CAD expertise, deep mechanical fundamentals, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and project teams in a fast-paced ETO environment.

What will you do:
- Lead mechanical design activities for ETO switchboards, power distribution equipment, and associated assemblies.
- Create high-quality 3D models, detailed component designs, and mechanical layouts using CREO (mandatory).
- Generate and maintain mechanical drawings, schematics, and documentation that comply with company standards and industry requirements.
- Ensure mechanical integrity, manufacturability, and compliance with UL, NEMA, and other applicable standards.
- Translate customer specifications into mechanically sound designs tailored for data centers and mission-critical environments.
- Develop mechanical concepts, mounting structures, enclosure modifications, and thermal considerations for custom configurations.
- Work closely with electrical engineers, technical writers and other entities on product design projects

- Knowledge of Engineer-to-Order (ETO) processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with other CAD tools.
- Familiarity with quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with additional tools/software such as SAP, MS Office Suite, and PDM systems.

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $66,000.00 - $99,000.00 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or closely related field.
- 3+ years of mechanical design experience, industrial equipment, or electrical distribution systems.
- Proficiency with CREO
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams
