Job Title: Means and Methods Engineer

We are seeking a Means and Methods Engineer to join the Schneider Electric team. The Plant specializes in Standard & Engineering to Order (ETO) solutions within the Secure Power Division, focusing primarily on prefabricated data centers and power modules for the Data Center sector.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and optimization techniques.
  • Strong decision-making abilities and a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively.
  • Experience in leading and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in generating and analyzing performance and productivity reports.


Description:

He/She will be part of the Means and Methods team, where he/she will Enhance manufacturing processes using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Standardized Work Practices (SPS) to design efficient workflows and improve ergonomics. Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams, set performance goals, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Utilize tools like Computer-Aided Manufacturing Analysis (CAMA) and Line Architecture Design Methodology (LADM) to balance workloads and optimize capacity. Conduct feasibility studies, manage investment projects, and implement cost-reduction programs while collaborating with departments such as Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Production to align processes with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Optimization:Enhance manufacturing processes through techniques like Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Standardized Work Practices (SPS). This includes designing efficient workflows, improving ergonomics, and utilizing simulation tools.
  • Team Leadership:Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams, set performance goals, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and efficiency.
  • Capacity and Performance Management:Utilize tools such as Computer-Aided Manufacturing Analysis (CAMA) and Line Architecture Design Methodology (LADM) to balance workloads, optimize capacity, and ensure production targets are met.
  • Investment and Cost Analysis:Conduct feasibility studies, manage investment projects, and implement cost-reduction programs to enhance the profitability of manufacturing operations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with various departments, including Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Production, to align manufacturing processes with organizational goals and customer requirements.


Requirements:
  • Electrical/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering
  • Interpretation of 2D and 3D plans. AutoCAD.
  • 5+ years experience
  • Good Communicator and Local Language proficiency.
