Position Title: Deputy Manager - Manufacturing Automation and Digitalization
Education : B.E/ B.Tech (Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation and Control)
Experience : 2 - 5 years
Work Location: Ahmednagar
Key Responsibilities/Deliverables (Min 4 need to be filled in decreasing order of importance)
- Understanding testing process, technical discussion with internal customer for development of Automated Test Equipment (ATE). Be the princpal architect of testing solution
- Selection of Power source, HV source, meters and other sensors.
- Prepare engineering specification document for ATE. Ability to prepare cost estimate for ATE. Obtain final quote from ATE supplier for budget proposal or ordering.
- Ordering activities of ATE, electrical & mechanical design approval, project planning, inspection at supplier end, commissioning at factory
- Interact with software engineer during development of the test bench software, integration, and commissioning at manufacturing location.
- Interact with Quality department for calibration and test bench approval & with manufacturing shop during test bench trials
- Make the User's manual comprising test bench drawings, fixture drawings, operating procedure, Bill of material etc. and handover to maintenance department.
- Develop small scale LabVIEW program or changes in already existing code
- Implement latest technology, new concepts in production testing to improve productivity. Get involved in VE, Lean, and POKAYOKE projects.
Functional Competencies
- Understanding of switchgear testing process & equipment
- Experience in development of Test benches for switch gear products like Contactor , MCB , COS , Starter etc..
- Very good knowledge on AC/ DC sources and their applications in switch gear testing Understanding of electrical schematics, control panel / power panel design.
- Development of electricals and control system for switch gear products testing5. Programming skill in PLC /HMI, SQL, Labview 6. Excellent technical troubleshooting & problem solving skills.
