Manufacturing Engineering Intern
For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $22 - $27 per hour. In addition, this position is eligible for overtime pay and recognition programs.

What do you get to do in this position?
- Be part of the Customer Product Deployment (CPD) Team supporting Medium Voltage products.
- Participate in 3F activities (Form, Fit, and Function evaluations) to support new product introductions and product changes.
- Conduct video time studies and process observations to identify improvement opportunities and support labor analysis.
- Develop and maintain labor standards, work instructions, and standardized work documentation.
- Assist with PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) qualifications and validation activities.
- Support special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
- You have interest in manufacturing operations.
- You have a passion for continuous improvement, problem-solving, and process optimization.
- You are comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and interacting with production associates.
- You possess strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analysis tools.
- You have strong communication skills and can effectively work with cross-functional teams.
- You are willing to learn manufacturing processes, quality methodologies, and engineering best practices.
- You take initiative, demonstrate ownership, and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- You are curious, data-driven, and motivated to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Experience with time studies, process mapping, statistical analysis, Minitab, Power BI, AutoCAD, or ERP systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, APQP, or other quality tools is preferred but not required.
- You can work on-site at the manufacturing facility.
