The mission in the GEC is to drive the strategic transformation of the engineering function within the Digital Buildings systems & project business to increase our competitiveness & improve our margins through establishing a collaborative working relationship between the Country and our Global Engineering Centre for BMS in India.

Full time Quality Assurance Manager Global Engineering Centre based in Bangalore and reporting to the Director of Global Engineering Center.
An exciting and challenging individual contributor role in our high performing team

Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to
- The role will own the deployment and upkeep of the Quality management System at GEC. Integrate the Quality into everything we do for the customers.
- Work with the GEC team to put together a Quality Management System encompassing the lifecycle of a remote engineering projects comprising of initiation, planning, execution, control and close-out.
- Ensure 100 % deployment of engineering workbooks on all running projects through regular audits.
- Ability to identify factors affecting quality of engineering deliverables and work on them proactively to drive outcomes.
- Strong knowledge in implementing ISO 9001 in Engineering Services sector
- Strong track record of carrying out internal audits, identifying non- conformances and identifying corrective actions after discussion with teams
- Strong communication in English, both spoken and written & ability to persuade and influence others.
- Strong commitment to drive results
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance lead
- Internal auditor certification will be an added advantage
- Work with Engineering teams to upkeep existing work processes in place. Work with teams to measure quality, defect free deliverables, on time deliveries with customer satisfaction as a part of the QMS deployment KPIs.
- The KPIs need to be tracked and maintained at a regional level and also at a team level. Develop individual quality scorecards.
- Ability to work closely with engineering teams and drive the Quality as an initiative
- Prepare and Conduct/ drive monthly Quality reviews for GEC to review quality performance KPIs
- Prepare and track Action register with Owners
- Work with engineering teams to identify corrective actions and act as a coach in performing Root cause analysis
- Understand key customer requirements and ensure QMS aids in achieving the same.
- Work experience in global projects and/or in global engineering centers will be considered as an advantage
- Train and work with Quality champions within the team who can act as change agents
- Experience in implementing ISO 9001, or as an internal Quality auditor.

- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation/Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering
- Proven track record in establishing and running a Quality management System to improve business results
- Strong experience in Quality Assurance in Services sector
- Strong inter-personal skills, ability to influence others and a great team player
- Ability to work in remote (offshore) teams situated across time zones
- Self-driven individual with a passion to drive results
