The Senior Manager - PAE acts as a Technology Ambassador for Schneider Electric's Electrical Distribution portfolio, driving digital adoption, supporting sales conversions, and enabling profitable growth through strong technical and application expertise.
Key responsibilities include:
- Act as a Technology Ambassador for Schneider Electric's Electrical Distribution offers.
- Ensure the success and adoption of Digital Technologies, Digital Offers, Digital Tools, and Platforms across customer segments.
- Partner with Sales teams to support customer conversion through technical value propositions and solutioning.
- Understand customer needs, specifications, and application requirements, and propose optimal technical solutions.
- Provide pre‑sales and application engineering support for products and integrated solutions.
- Conceive, plan, and organize technology promotions, seminars, customer events, and workshops.
- Drive and position technological evolution with internal stakeholders and external partners such as customers, consultants, OEMs, and panel builders.
- Contribute to profitability and growth of assigned offers for the region through right positioning and solution prescription.
Professional Experience
- 4 to 8 years of experience in electrical distribution systems, application engineering, pre‑sales, or technical sales support roles.
Market & Business Understanding
- Strong understanding of customer segments, including:
- Panel Builders (PB)
- OEMs
- Contractors
- In‑depth knowledge of market segments, applications, and evolving customer needs.
- Strong knowledge of Electrical Power Distribution Networks (MV & LV) and system design philosophy.
- Exposure to or hands‑on experience with Connected Products and Energy Management Software.
- In‑depth technical knowledge of Power Distribution Offers, such as:
- Vacuum Circuit Breakers (VCB)
- Air Circuit Breakers (ACB)
- MCCBs
- Switching & Controlling Devices
- Transfer Switches
- Fuse Disconnectors (FD)
- Applicable standards and digital applications (preferred)
- Solid understanding of Power Management Offers:
- Energy Meters
- Power Factor Correction (PFC) components
- Active Harmonic Filters (AHFs)
- Experience with LV panels and their industrial/commercial applications.
- Exposure to Discrete and/or Process Automation offers will be an added advantage.
