What will you do?
- Follow work instructions and blueprints to complete job tasks according to specifications utilizing all necessary tools and equipment to perform the job according to quality, safety and customer requirements.
- Set-up and operate equipment, including tooling and controls.
- Selects proper raw stock per blueprint specifications.
- Segregates, sorts, and disposes of scrap and writes scrap tickets.
- Counts, reports and records production.
- Understand and complete job assignments to quality and productivity standards.
- Uses manual, powered and material handling equipment, within guidelines (safety, quality etc.), to complete job tasks.
- Assemble all types of devices, working from blueprints, sketches and other established procedures and data. Alter parts to suit assemblies as required. Inspect, label, pack and identify assemblies as required.
- Processes labels.
- Maintains equipment, including daily cleaning, dusting, tightening bolts, detection of and reporting of abnormal conditions (heat, vibration, noise & leaks).
- Maintains good housekeeping and adheres to plant regulations and safety rules.
- Complete other job tasks as assigned.

- Previous experience working to quality standards. Use of quality tools is helpful.
- Previous experience using hand tools (ruler, screwdriver etc) or power tools is preferred.
- Attention to detail.
