Logistics Engineering Internship - Fall 2026
Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for a Logistics Engineering Intern based in our Middletown, PA facility for Fall 2026 . This on-site, part-time position will begin in August 2026 and requires the ideal candidate to be located within the general area. No visa sponsorship or relocation assistance will be provided for this role.

You'll gain hands-on experience supporting distribution center operations, continuous improvement initiatives, warehouse optimization, and supply chain processes while working alongside experienced professionals who are invested in your development.
What will you do:
- Perform time studies and analyze operational data to improve distribution center efficiency and productivity.
- Support slotting and storage optimization initiatives to enhance warehouse operations.
- Assist with Smart Factory and warehouse automation projects.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and Kaizen activities focused on reducing waste and improving processes.
- Manage service and service sales orders to support same-day shipment execution when inventory is available.
- Research and respond to customer requests while supporting daily logistics operations.
- Analyze shipping and inventory data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with warehouse operations, logistics teams, and other supply chain functions to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Follow established operating procedures and service level agreements to ensure operational excellence.
- Support logistics engineering projects and other departmental initiatives as needed.
What qualifications will make you successful:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management, Global Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Junior or Senior standing at an accredited college or university.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Exposure to Access, Tableau, or data analysis tools is preferred.
- Genuine interest in logistics, engineering, and supply chain operations with a desire to learn and grow.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team-oriented approach and ability to collaborate across functions.
- Proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
