Lead - MES Developer - iTAC

Title: Lead - MES Developer

Location: Bangalore, KA

Exp - 5-8 yrs

We are seeking an experienced MES Developer with 5+ years of experience in MES Applications, particularly iTAC MES, to lead development, deployments & Run support across multiple factories. This role requires manufacturing process knowledge and proven ability to solve complex development, deployment & support challenges for a customized solution.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead global development & deployment of iTAC MES & other manufacturing applications across multiple manufacturing sites, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
2. Manage global run support of iTAC MES & other manufacturing applications to ensure application stability and effectiveness.
3. Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand factory-specific processes and tailor development & configurations accordingly.
4. Develop and execute development, deployment & run support strategies, migration plans, and risk mitigation measures.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex development, deployment & run support issues, ensuring minimal disruption to production operations.
6. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (IT, Engineering, Operations) to ensure seamless integration with ERP, shop-floor systems, and IoT devices.
7. Establish and enforce standardized development, deployment & run support methodologies and best practices.
8. Provide technical leadership and guidance to regional teams and ensure knowledge transfer.
9. Monitor progress, report KPIs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
10. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, data integrity, and regulatory requirements during deployments.
11. Stay updated on manufacturing applications advancements and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions for global manufacturing operations.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering
2. 5+ years of experience in MES development and implementation, preferably with strong expertise in iTAC MES.
3. Proven track record of leading global or multi-site development, deployments & run support in discrete manufacturing environments.
4. Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, architecture, and system integration.
5. Strong problem-solving skills for addressing complex challenges.
6. Proficiency in C#, VB, .NET, Angular, SQL server, Oracle DB, Integration technologies, and scripting for data migration and troubleshooting and familiarity with IoT connectivity.
7. Exposure to Agile project methodology.
8. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
