Lab Engineer - Secure Power R&D
Location: Andover, MA
The Opportunity
Join a high-performing community of experts dedicated to 3-phase UPS technology. In this role, you will provide critical support for the continuous development of recently launched products while preparing for a future in innovation-led R&D.
For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $100,000 - $123,000 per year, which
includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United
States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within
the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric also offers a
comprehensive benefits package to support our employees, inclusive of medical (with member reward

Key Responsibilities
- Validation & Verification: Lead the execution of comprehensive test plans to ensure product integrity and compliance with international standards.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as a technical bridge between design and manufacturing to validate requirements and architecture.
- Specialized Testing: Execute high-level electrical, thermal, environmental, and HALT testing to push product boundaries.
- Reporting & Strategy: Deliver structured data insights to stakeholders, providing clear recommendations for product improvements.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee lab infrastructure, including equipment maintenance, asset tracking, and safety protocols.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience: 3-5 years in a lab engineering or testing environment; experience in Power Conversion is highly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience with spectrum analyzers, electronic loads, and dataloggers.
- Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with safety certification and EMC testing is a significant advantage.
EDUCATION
- You have a Bachelor Degree of Science in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a technician (experienced) degree and you are fluent in English.
