The Role: Key Account Manager - Semiconductor Segment
In this role, you will take primary ownership of building, nurturing, and sustaining long‑term strategic relationships with customers and ecosystem partners in the semiconductor industry. You will drive business growth by understanding semiconductor manufacturing challenges, technology roadmaps, and operational requirements while positioning our solutions as the preferred choice.
What will you do?
1. Account Development & Customer Engagement
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with key semiconductor customers, including wafer fabs, OSATs, IDM players, and semiconductor equipment manufacturers.
- Proactively identify and engage stakeholders across engineering, operations, procurement, and senior leadership levels to drive account penetration.
- Serve as a strategic consultant to semiconductor end users based on deep understanding of customer needs, technical challenges, competitor offerings, and industry trends.
2. Sales Growth & Opportunity Management
- Drive the development of new semiconductor business opportunities by thoroughly understanding production requirements such as cleanroom operations, automation, facility systems, and energy efficiency needs.
- Identify and qualify semiconductor‑related projects (expansions, new fabs, equipment upgrades) within assigned accounts and geographic regions.
- Introduce and position relevant products and solutions to maximize value creation and strengthen market presence.

3. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams (technical consultants, product specialists, marketing, supply chain) to design and deliver customized semiconductor‑specific solutions.
- Collaborate with ecosystem partners such as system integrators, EPCs, and OEMs to support project execution and long‑term account strategy.
4. Strategic & Technical Advisory
- Provide insights on semiconductor market trends, fab technology transitions, energy management architecture, and digital transformation opportunities.
- Help customers achieve sustainability, productivity, and operational excellence through adoption of advanced facility systems and digital solutions.
5. Project Ecosystem & Stakeholder Management
- Facilitate creation and expansion of project ecosystems, ensuring solution alignment throughout design, specification, and execution stages. [careers.se.com]
- Maintain consistent communication with all stakeholders and ensure seamless project follow‑through.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in sales or account management, ideally in the semiconductor, electronics, or industrial technology sector.
- Strong understanding of energy management systems, fab facility architecture, cleanroom infrastructure, automation, and semiconductor production environments.
- Ability to translate technical requirements into business value propositions.
- Proven track record of managing key accounts and achieving revenue growth in a high‑tech industry.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to stay updated on semiconductor market developments and evolving customer needs.
