Key Account Manager - Contractors

We're looking for a proactive Key Account Manager to strengthen our relationships with key contractor customers and accelerate growth across Sweden. In this role, you'll own strategic account planning, commercial execution, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong market and account insights to drive growth.
  • Ensure accurate customer and opportunity data in CRM/ERP systems.
  • Build and execute strategic account plans with clear commercial targets.
  • Create trusted customer relationships and position value‑adding Schneider solutions.
  • Lead commercial execution with clear ownership of revenue, pipeline, and order conversion.
  • Manage all commercial interactions, negotiations, and contract agreements.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive engagement and market research.
  • Serve as the primary contact for key customers, representing the full Schneider Electric portfolio.
  • Translate customer needs into tailored proposals with internal technical teams.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure seamless delivery and strong customer outcomes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and relevant technologies.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary customer projects for consistent execution.
  • Maintain thorough reporting and follow-up on all activities in CRM and related tools.

Background and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience in Key Account Management or business development with a track record of meeting sales targets
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
  • Strategic thinker with solid problem‑solving ability; proactive and self‑driven
  • Effective in a matrix environment; fluent in English and local language
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP tools
